FLINTSHIRE 9 BULLDOGS 2

Goals from Dean Boothroyd and Aaron Dad were not enough has the Bulldogs went down 9-2 to Flintshire in North Wales on Sunday night. Basic defensive mistakes were to blame as Flintshire lead 4-1 at the end of the first period. Aaron Dad's early goal in the second period gave the Bulldogs hope but once again the Bulldogs switched off and were punished as Flintshire scored two quick goals. To be fair the Bulldogs competed well in the last period but three late goals made the scoreline 9-2. The Bulldogs did'nt desreve to lose by a big margin but they need to stop the basic mistakes if they are to compete with any team in this leauge. Next up Telford and last time i heard not a lot of players were going then Lancashire at home which should be a easy win. But with christmas coming up maybe the Bulldogs might just deliver 4 points next weekend and give everyone an early present.
