Churchill would have been proud of those boys.
Never has so much been owed by so many to so few.
Every player that bothered to turn up played their socks off, they showed excellent resolve and for long periods of the game took control with a fine display of puck passing, handling and creating space.
Well done Gentlemen.

Can I add Arrons first goal was particularly sweet Smile

Cheers Admin. We were still asleep in the first but would have to agree with you for the rest of match. In the 2nd and 3rd we were equal to Telford but just couldn't seem to get it past their (very good) net minder. The standing ovation from the usually hostile Telford fans at the end of the game says it all!

I'd like to say a very well done and also a big thank you to all the lads that turned up for the Telford away game yesterday. It takes a lot of positive attitude to take the approach that you all did yesterday. I'm also sure that the standing ovation that you all received was well earned and was also given with geniune respect from a team that does not always go easy on their opposition. You should all be proud of yourselves. The hardwork and sportmanship shown yesterday by you is something that all our senior players should try and attain.

Like some of our players who did not attend the game yesterday, for various reasons, I also didn't go as I was away with our U8/U10's. I'd like to thank David for standing in for me.
