Coventry arrived on Saturday night unbeatean a scoring goals for fun.In a thrilling end to end match with crap refreeing aswell the Bulldogs produced a fine performance. Coventry went in 5-0 up at the end of the first period.
The second period began with a fast flowing hockey . The Bulldogs got on the board at 19.51 when Joe Barraclough slotted the puck home. Macauley Stones then supplied Liam Kirton with a pass which he slotted away at 25.22. 4-2 at the end of the second period.
The thrid period started with Liam Kirton scoring a deleyed penalty goal at 30.10 to make it 6-3. Coventry then made it 5-3 at 36.05. Hell then broke lose when the Bulldogs had a goal disallowed for something no one can understand. But the Bulldogs scored at 37.03 shorthanded through Liam Kirton with the assist coming from Macauley Stones. Coventry went on to score two more goals . The Bulldogs had played brillant and can be proud themsleves.
