The Bulldogs went into Sunday night looking for there first win of the season. The Bulldogs came out flying and got the perfect start when Josh Stockton scored from a Danny Berry pass at 04.01. Things got better at 05.34 when Matt Viney scored with Aaron Dad grabing the assit. Michael Fletcher then scored a goal from a rebound from a Josh Stockton shot at 07.07. Aaron Dad scored a great solo goal at 11.19 to make it four at the end of the frist period. The Bulldogs continued where they left off in the second period. Andy Brown scored a great goal at 28.10 with Aaron Dad supplSying a inch perfect cross. Jordan Ashington scored at 33.25. Matt Viney scored his second at 37.28 on the powerplay with the assits coming from Andy Brown and Aaron Dad to give the Bulldogs a 7-0 at the end of the second period. Lancashire then got one back at 51.38 only for the Bulldogs to score again through Jordan Ashington at 52.07 with Matt Viney getting the assit. Only 21 seconds later Matt Viney got hatrick with Andy Brown and Steven Butler getting the assit. At 55.21 Andy Brown and Paul Mercer were involed in a fight. In truth the Lancashire player never went for the puck and was only intrested in the man. From the resulting powerplay Aaron Dad scored his second of the game with the assits coming from Jordan Ashington and Matt Viney. In all a great team performance which bolds well for the season ahead.
