The Bulldogs made the short trip to Altrincham to open up there 2008/09 season. Things started well for the Bulldogs when Matt Viney set up Aaron Dad with a sweet pass for Dad to put the puck away. That was has good as it got for the Bulldogs as the aggersive style of play by Manchester undid the Bulldogs. The second and third periods were all Manchester and when the Bulldogs did have chances they could.nt take advantage. The most worrying thing was that the Bulldogs had eight powerplays including a 5 on 3 and still could'nt come up with the goods. One other worry is aslo the style of play. In my view we could be more aggresive in both the attacking and defensive part of the game. We all know we could be a decent side if we put our minds to it so lets go out a show Lancashire what sort of team we really are.
